In the same week that President Xi was making his state visit to the UK, Ethos played a key role in supporting a UK delegation to China. The visit culminated with the signing of an agreement between Blue Peaks Healthcare Ltd (led by Ethos partner Jonathan Probets) and the Chinese Government in Hunan Province (home to 68m people). 
The agreement will provide 100 Chinese doctors and nurses with the opportunity to train at some of the UK’s leading healthcare institutions.
The trip included visits to a major Traditional Chinese Medicine University and an Affiliated Hospital, demonstrating Chinese healthcare knowledge built over 5,000 years and highlighting the possibilities for a two-way exchange of ideas. The agreement opens the way for an ongoing dialogue with the Chinese Government across a broad range of opportunities to support the Chinese national programme of promoting healthcare innovations and improving the lives of millions of people both in China and the UK.
