What Ethos Young Leaders means to me
Hari Kumaranisanthan
I find motivation everyday with the thought of self improvement. I firmly believe that taking care of myself is the first step in taking care of others during what is a very tough time. I also aim to develop myself further, by hopefully developing my professional profile to allow me to make something of myself further down the line. I care most about the people in my life, namely family, as without their support I would not be here today; in a sense, this does drive me, as I believe that it is important to look out for the people that support you. If I could give anything to society, it would be to give younger people better mental health support. Having seen this for myself, I think it is overlooked that the majority of young people struggle with their mental health, which unfortunately leads to things such as self harm or suicide. I firmly believe that not only should everyone have someone to talk to, but also someone to check up on them.
