24th February 2016 saw Ethos formally launch SkillsPlanner, our InnovateUK funded project, at the Institute of Civil Engineers in London. One of the highlights of the evening was Sir Nigel Shadbolt explaining, to an audience including over 100 Industry guests, how Linked Open Data will and can be exploited to drive data platforms like that being built for the SkillsPlanner project. His talk offered an excellent clarity for understanding about Linked Open data and its potential. We felt it important to share so you can all “feel the benefit”.
