Co-founder and CEO of Ethos Rob Pye has joined the Skills Board of a key Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) in the South East. Along with other leaders from local business, education, and government this new Board will provide direction and strategic support for the delivery of the ambitious Strategic Economic Plan, Gatwick 360˚, to understand and address key local skills challenges, and advise and support training providers to deliver the skills required by today’s employers.
This activity will contribute to the overall remit of the Coast to Capital LEP (which covers an area from Croydon, through East Surrey, to Greater Brighton and West Sussex, with a total population of 2 million) of “helping to lead economic growth and job creation within the local area to secure a more prosperous and sustainable future for all”
Rob Pye commented: “I’m passionate about the future of work domain and LEPs have a critical role to play in encouraging employers to “think differently” about recruitment and skills in our changing digital world. I’m really looking forward to exploring ways in which we can help prepare our citizens, employers and educators for tomorrow’s opportunities “
